Symposium 2026 Competitions

All YPP Members are invited to submit a White Paper on “Real-World AI That Accelerated My Learning Curve“

How are young professionals using practical AI to learn faster, contribute earlier, and create measurable value?


We’re looking for submissions that demonstrate real impact — including:

• Time saved

• Reduced rework or errors

• Faster ramp-up or decision cycles

• Cost savings or avoided spend

• Improved accuracy or risk mitigation

A panel of industry experts will be assembled to review each white paper submitted. The panel will score the submissions and select the final winner. The winner will be announced at the YPP Symposium, which will take place in Houston on May 6-7, 2026 and will be invited to present their paper at the YPP Symposium.

The winner will also receive free admission to PRCI’s Research Exchange in Houston, Texas in March 2027 where they will also be presenting their white papers. YPP will sponsor a travel grant to either of these conferences for the winner including flight and travel reimbursement up to a certain to be determined dollar threshold.

Whitepaper Contest

Author Guidelines:

  • Each paper will be written by a single author

  • Winner will be asked to present at the YPP USA Symposium in Houston, TX on May 6-7, 2026

  • Author is encouraged to engage in a peer review process, whether that be with another member of YPP USA, coworker, or even an industry executive

  • Author must be a current or incoming member of YPP USA

White Paper Guidelines:

  • 1500 word maximum

  • Relevant to the pipeline industry as a whole

  • Papers will be judged on industry benefit, public benefit, and creativity

  • Peer reviewers thanked

  • Papers to be submitted by April 29, 2026, via email to YPP USA (info@YPPUSA.org)

  • Winner will be notified of their selection prior to the event.
